Next to preparing a background concept note and a keynote presentation, the assignment consisted of moderating a roundtable discussion and elaborating the proceedings. The focus of the dialogue was on financial institutions and financial instruments in the context of climate action for developing countries that are vulnerable to climate change, particularly in Africa. The meeting also discussed the required development of adaptation and mitigation measures towards climate-resilient and low-carbon development pathways.
