The provision of support to the Moroccan delegation in UNFCCC negotiation processes related to climate finance. Climatekos advised the delegation in strengthening Morocco’s visibility and defining national priorities at COP29 through drafting finance-related language elements, providing expert input on climate finance issues, developing thematic notes, participating in climate finance events, preparing summaries and discussion points, accompanying the delegation to bilateral meetings, and developing thematic notes on the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQG) on climate finance and the Loss and Damage Fund. Climatekos also assisted Morocco in positioning itself within the African and Arab Negotiation Groups.
