Conduct a complete mapping of the potentials for the private sector to get involved and active within the climate change area within the Great Green Wall 11 countries. This included a complete review, desk based and interviews, of potential for restauration / regreening on a country per country level as well as SME’s potential in adaptation and mitigation taking into account the natural endowments and existing infrastructure; as well as the enabling environment for doing business, regulatory and legal frameworks, support mechanism, platforms & organizations; technical and financial assistance to entrepreneurs, SMEs and smallholders.
