The “Water and Energy for Food (WE4F)” is an initiative that promotes the development and dissemination of climate-friendly, energy efficient and water-efficient technologies and solutions to:

• increase food production and food preservation along the value chain.

• increase income for base of the pyramid women and men in both rural and urban areas.

• promote climate and environmental resilience and biodiversity conservation through the sustainable, holistic management of natural resources and ecosystems.

Climatekos has conducted an assessment of the WE4F portfolio to analyze its contribution to climate change mitigation and adaptation. The results were summarized in a Information Paper highlighting the contribution of the WE4F initiative to climate change .
