An assignment for the CES-MED project on behalf of the European Commission to analyse the bankability of 24 mitigations projects from cities within 8 Mediterranean countries. The projects are presented to international donors aiming to reach initial financing agreement. Such city mitigation projects are described in concept notes, being financial feasibility and bankability presentations, which can be addressed to public sources of finance (multilateral and bilateral) and private sources, if possible. The projects include city mitigation actions, such as biogas collection for energy generation, city lighting management, solar electricity generation for municipal buildings, incentive systems for local enterprises to use solar energy and municipal fleet management optimisation.
