The project consists of four components, i.e. establishment and management of the Finance Innovation for Climate Change Fund (FICCF), Provision of technical assistance to the Government of Kenya for the implementation of the National Climate Change Action Plan and the National Climate Change Response Strategy, coordination with partners implementing the four components of the StARCK+ (Strengthening Adaptation and Resilience to Climate Change in Kenya) programme and monitoring and evaluation for StARCK+. Climatekos provided technical expertise to the FICCF with regards to assessments of funding proposals, tendering, proposal evaluation, fiduciary and management assessment and aspects of funding projects.
