The aim of the assignment is to formulate essential instruments that support orderly and effective access to climate finance in El Salvador. A solid institutional architecture for the access, management and distribution of climate finance has to be designed in accordance with the national priorities and the international responsibilities of El Salvador. The assignment will be framed by the GCF requirements and processes, but the national strategy, architecture and action plan will enable El Salvador to tap into various sources of climate finance - blending sources and financial instruments.
